| FOR THE PUPPIES |
| The Abady Maintenance & Stress Formula should not become the exclusive diet for puppies until they reach at least six weeks of age. Young puppies are incapable of utilizing dry feed efficiently until that age unless it is specifically designed for weaning, such as the Abady Canned Complete Weaning Formula. Between 5 ½ and 7 weeks of age they should slowly be switched to the Abady Low Protein/High Nutrition Formula. The Abady Maintenance & Stress Formula is a complete and fully nourishing ration on its own. It can be fed as it comes from the box with water along side, or it can be mixed with water, broth or milk if desired. The addition of fresh raw beef or cooked meat (up to 15% by weight) would be consistent with good feeding practices. |

| RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING FEEDING DURING GROWTH |
| Abady Growth Formulations are designed to help insure proper growth and development when fed freely. That is the only way of insuring that the puppy's caloric and nutrient needs are fully satisfied. While veterinarians may be in the habit of recommending that feed intake be restricted during growth, this applies ONLY to brands which may be unable to generate adequate tissue-strength in relation to the weight they develop. Such recommendations do not apply to Abady Feeds. They are in fact, contra-indicated. |
