Feeding Schedule for Maintenance of Adult dogs (over one year of age) Because of its nutrient-rich composition, The Abady "Classic" Formula for Maintenance & StressTM tends to pack as it settles. Simply loosen the feed with a metal scoop or heavy serving spoon. Fill an 8 ounce measuring cup to the level required, packing the feed lightly and serve |
|
Calculated Calories per lb - 2004 Cal.**********Calories per 8 oz. cup - 921 Cal. |

Increase the amounts over schedule prior to, during and after periods of greater than normal stress - e.g. recuperation from illness or surgery, unusual parasitic loads, prolonged hard work, cold temperatures as well as during showing or whenever individual requirements are higher in order to maintain body weight and condition and protect health. |
| The amounts recommended are based on a 24 hour consumption schedule. |
| IT IS IMPORTANT TO PROVIDE FRESH DRINKING WATER AT ALL TIMES |

| FOR THE PUPPIES |
| RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING FEEDING DURING GROWTH |
| Abady Growth Formulations are designed to help insure proper growth and development when fed freely. That is the only way of insuring that the puppy's caloric and nutrient needs are fully satisfied. While veterinarians may be in the habit of recommending that feed intake be restricted during growth, this applies ONLY to brands which may be unable to generate adequate tissue-strength in relation to the weight they develop. Such recommendations do not apply to Abady Feeds. They are in fact, contra-indicated. |
